Currently writing a comedy about an Afro-Latina who attempts to rescue the love of her life, a man who she’s only known for two weeks, from a psychiatric ward after he ghosted her. Since COVID it seems we’re all losing our minds. Often conversations regarding mental health are serious and scary. We all have come face to face with mental health issues in one way or another. Why not make light of an often heavy topic in a respectful yet hilarious way? I’m a writer with a background in history and acting experience. I’ve written for major publications and this is my first venture in screenwriting. I’m excited to be a part of this community!

This sounds like an awesome script. I'd love to hear more about it :)

Aleichia - tell me what the arc is of your screenplay. What's that second act twist typically found on page 75 if it's a 120 page script? I' good at riffing if you want to share...?
