Hello and Happy Sunday everyone. I answer to DiTanya and I just joined the Stage 32 family of creatives. I'm looking forward to moving my projects forward, to receive assistance and be of some help to others. I enjoy writing fictionalized true-crime and consider my work activism through story-telling. Spent a considerable amount of time in law enforcement and have those experiences to explore. Right now, I'm working on "ANGELA" which is based on a true-story that I hope someday can become a true-crime streaming series and/or mini-series or even join the BLM Netflix Collection. I'm channeling "MY" Ava DuVernay these days. Smiles!!

Channel away and make it happen. Hav you considered any of our professional industry readers or producers to lay eyes on your work and give you feedback?

You are so much like me! I was involved in law enforcement as well. See The Corporate Klan screenplay and you will get my drift!
@ Maurice @Ilan and @Christopher... Thank you!! I just joined the Writer's Room and will be indulging in just about EVERYTHING offered especially the feedback. I have received valuable feedback from contests entered but, I guess true-crime isn't everyones' cup of tea.

It is no mistake that crime sells when we look back over time. Some of the greatest movies of our time involved true crime. Think The Goodfather Good Fellas, on TV think 48 hours and Dateline. You are on the right track and you own your stories, and no one can tell your one-of-a-kind stories better than you.
