I have two completed family animation feature screenplays on Stage 32; "The Orange Chihuahua" and "The Yellow Sea Lioness," which is a musical. I am currently working on an animation with a historical fiction slant to it. Due to unexpected circumstances, I now have more time to work on my writing.
I have been a member of Stage 32 for a little over a year. I hope to post more when I really buckle down and complete other writings. Until then, happy holidays to everyone!

Leonardo, I've pitched my animated family musical, "The Yellow Sea Lioness," a few times via Stage 32. It does not pick up as much interest as "The Orange Chihuahua." I have learned since that having to pay royalties for music is quite expensive and most directors/producers do not want to start out with that immediate debt. Do you have connections to people who are interested and have the means to direct or produce animated musicals? Be it you or anyone else? Please advise. Thanks.

Kelly Ann Guglietti Having worked in the music industry for a number of years, I can see that. It has to go through a publishing entity that divides up the royalties between performance and mechanical. I'm fairly new to this community so the best I could suggest would be to look through the pitch sessions to see if there's an executive that fits the project. Maurice Vaughan is a wonderful source as well.
