Hi everyone, wherever in the world and whenever in history you happen to be.
I'm a writer in London, UK, and I've been spending large chunks of the last two years between 1850 and 1860 working on a historical drama feature screenplay. I'm a member of a scriptwriting group here in London and I've finally got that script to a point where I'm ready to submit it to the group for critiques. In about a month - or whenever my place comes up in line - my script will be sent to the 20 - 25 active group members who'll read it. We get together above a pub in once every couple of weeks, and they'll give me their crits. Gulp.
While I'm waiting I'm going to fast-forward to the present and begin work on my next feature screenplay. It's going to be completely different. Intentionally low-budget. Single set. Limited cast. Highly topical subject, involving NATO and the Ukraine war.
That's the great thing about being a writer - the only limit is your imagination. There's no budgets or precution schedules to worry about. Yet!
