Introducing myself here, although did this some long time ago.
I have written and have published over 80 books. I am almost that old. I thought how neat it would be to try to write a screenplay. What fun! Unfortunately, several times I have thought of giving up on that. But I have come a long way in writing. I wrote poems, then songs, then newspaper articles, and then books. But screenplays, I am dumbfounded by words, what is a pitch and is it important? I have written a couple of screenplays and some were recognized in contests, but no bananas for the little monkey in the confusion tree , that's me. Oh, by the way, Hi!

Pitching is one of the most important things for a screenwriter. Here's a webinar about pitching (www.stage32.com/webinars/Pitching-Tips-from-the-Pros-Your-Blueprint-to-a...). It has a lot of great info and advice.
