Hi everyone I know I already posted on the Screenwriting Lounge with an introduction but I didn't know if this "Introduce Yourself" weekend post was different, to keep it short I am an aspiring screenwriter with a bachelor's college degree. Film was my minor and something I have been very passionate about since I was young, I am currently working on writing my first spec screenplay titled "The Contortionist" the logline which you can find under my logline post, if you want to give any feedback good or bad both are appreciated. I am currently reading "Save the Cat" and taking a film screenwriting course through Udemy which are both helping. Once I finish those which should be at the end of April I will officially begin taking my written 30-page story outline and bring it to life in my spec on the software I am using WriterDuet. If anyone has any feedback on anything screenwriting or the sources I said I was using above I would love to connect. I am so happy to have found Stage 32 there is a plethora of film knowledge on here that I am only beginning to dive into and I can't wait to keep learning more.
Thanks, guys!

Hey, Andy DeSandre. We already met, but I wanted to let you know that Introduce Yourself Weekend is this Friday-Monday (April 14-17). Introduce Yourself Weekend is the third weekend of each month. You're also welcome to introduce yourself anytime throughout the month.
I suggest adding a profile picture. It'll help you build industry relationships/network on here.

Great to have you here Andy! Welcome! A lot of people love Save the Cat, but don't take it as gospel and instead a guideline. There is so much you will learn from the community and we're glad to have you! If you haven't joined the Writers' Room here, I'd highly recommend it to find consistent support and access: https://www.stage32.com/writers-room/plans-vip
