I write comedy features (mostly rom-coms) and yes, I am indeed seeking potential writing collaborators. But I also want to meet actors, directors, producers, cinematographers - heck, anyone who enjoys making audiences laugh. (You're my kind of people.) It would help if you have a fondness for film history, too; for more than 13 1/2 years, I ran the classic Hollywood site "Carole & Co.", named for screwball legend Carole Lombard, my favorite Golden Age actress. I'm currently creating my latest project, the time-travel comedy script "Screen Time," which can best be described as "Back to the Future" meets "Singin' in the Rain." Yes, she does, along with her ex William Powell (my favorite Golden Age actor), Myrna Loy, Cary Grant, Barbara Stanwyck, Fred MacMurray and so on. Fave writers include Robert Riskin, Norman Krasna and Billy Wilder, while Ernst Lubitsch tops my list of directors.
P.S. I'm happy to note Carole is returning to TCM's Summer Under the Stars for the first time since 2014! Her day is Friday, Aug. 18, the day before my birthday (when the great Fred Astaire gets the honor).

Someone once asked me if I could be anyone else, who would that be? My immediate answer was...and still is....Cary Grant. In college I developed a crush on Myna Loy watching her as Nora Charles in "The Thin Man", all 5 versions.
