I'm looking for a screenwriter to partner with on a true story in the genre of "Erin Brockovich" and "A Civil Action." This story hasn't been told and it includes all of the drama, surprises, and suspense that will captivate an audience.

I think I'm in over my head here a bit. I looked at that Jobs section and I'm not even sure how to properly fill that out, to get the desired outcome I'm looking for. I'm not from or in this industry, I simply have a story that may be marketable if written and pitched properly to the right people. I do appreciate the advice and comments. Thank you all for taking the time to do so.

Ty, Thank you for the additional information. I'll try to find a job listing to see how one looks. To answer your questions, no, this story has not been written yet, (I did put together a 2-page synopsis of the story, because I read online that some writers/agencies will ask for that,) and yes, it is my story to tell.
