I'm a 58 y.o. male screenwriter, aspiring actor, filmmaker, and director, and producer/content creator of youtube videos for several of my channels/shows (plus a podcast [on undetermined hiatus]) and music as a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
I have written several spec movie and TV scripts that I hope will be optioned or produced. I'm also working on filming either a short or a feature (using one of my scripts) and release in 2024. I'm also working on recording some of my songs to also publish in 2024/2025.
Because of my age and major heart health issues, it's slowed me down quite a bit in getting going. But, I hope to catch some good steam to get some actionable items done to at least film and record music by this time next year.
Joining a writing staff would be a dream but not sure if I can handle the daily grind. Writing features is a delight for me and can push myself to write 2-3 first drafts every year. I've been writing scripts since 2019 (professionally after graduating with an MFA in Creative Writing/Scriptwriting) and have 6 features, 3 pilots, and a few shorts. I also have 2 more features in the works.
Glad to meet like-minded, driven individuals in the industry. Much success to everyone.
