Introduce Yourself : About Me! by Jeremy Gomez

Hi, everyone, just wanted to post here and quickly introduce myself. My name is Jeremy, or JJ, or Jerm to friends and family. I’m 22 and it’s been almost 8 months since I graduated college with my English degree. I’ve been trying to get more into screenwriting and have actually finished a spec script that I’m trying to share to improve in my writing any way I can. I’ve been writing since I was 15, and my passion for all things mystery and horror is what started my craving for writing books, movies, and TV. I have so many ideas I’d like to share, so any and all feedback is welcome as I’m only really just beginning to get comfortable in my career and putting myself out there. I’d like to start building friendships in this community to better help me understand what I’m doing, so don’t hesitate to message or share your work with me, it’ll be beneficial for me to read other works so I can learn and get better.

Also, if anyone can comment on what genre they love to write, direct, etc. I would love to see what other genres other artists love to create, watch or read as it’ll help me expand beyond mystery and horror.
