Hi, Aaron Marcus. I watched the Super Bowl ads, but I missed some of them. I liked some of the ads, especially the Seal Mountain Dew commercial. It was a fun, creative ad. I like seeing well-known actors in commercials as a movie/show fan, but well-known actors in commercials don't make me want to buy the products. It's the products and the quality and uniqueness of the commercials that make me want to buy the products. I'd like to see new actors and lesser-known actors get more big commercial opportunities like at the Super Bowl.

It is always so interesting to hear people's reactions. I read a few reviews by some who really disliked the Seal spot. Just goes to show, that there is no one right answer. We all have different thoughts, opinions and tastes. So interesting to see the change. Many years ago, a famous actor would never "stoop so low as to do a TV spot." Now so many are doing them.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts here.

You're welcome, Aaron Marcus. You're right. Different tastes. And great topic!

I gotta admit, it chaps my a** watching well-known actors in TV ads. Especially the spots in which they say or do nearly nothing. As an example, watching Sydney Sweeney deliver one line in the Billy Crystal/Meg Ryan spot, when it could have been ANY actor with the same effect, really bums me out. So many deserving actors who could of paid rent for a few months from that.

Aaron Marcus

I hear you, Herman. Like I said in the video, I understand it, people want to work with people they know, and think the product will have more success with famous people, but like you said, it is such a shame less known actors couldn't have had a decent pay day.
