Hello everyone and happy Easter. I just wanted to introduce myself again, it's been a while since I was last here.
I'm a writer based in the UK. Currently working on a pilot script that is about domestic abuse against men. It is (dare I say it) almost there I'm in the process of refining it and I hope to be in a position to get it out into the world within the next few months.
I'm looking to potentially connect with producers/ directors/ agents who might be interested or maybe give me a nudge in the right direction.
I look forward to connecting with you

Hi, Rachel White. Happy Easter. It's great to see you again. And you brought a friend. What's his/her name?

Maurice Vaughan good to see you again. This is the legend that is Arthur. The poor lad has to put up with my constant thinking out loud and probably knows my script better than I do!

Poor Arthur. :) Congratulations on the progress with your pilot, Rachel White! I'm not sure if you saw this blog or not, but it could help you connect with producers, directors, agents, etc.: www.stage32.com/blog/the-importance-of-community-and-collaboration-in-th...

Welcome back, Rachel White!
If you haven’t already, I recommend diving into the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting) to connect with fellow writers, and the Producing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing) to start building relationships with potential collaborators.
You can also reach out to our Success Team at Success@Stage32.com. They’d be happy to help guide you toward the right execs or services to support your next steps.
Excited to see your pilot come to life. Don’t hesitate to keep us posted as you move forward!

Maurice Vaughan I will have a read of that thank you. I find it really hard to reach out and network, I need to learn to be less shy!
I'm very happy with progress on my pilot though. I just completed a 6 month course in episodic writing for tv which was amazing and has moved it on to a whole new level. Plus I got a great mentor and some lovely course mates in the process which was a huge win!
