In my latest obsessive analysis of Todd Field's remarkable screenplay TAR, I look at how his use of ICEBERG THEORY creates the presumption of Lydia Tar's story arc being based on that of a real conductor (it isn't) and at how Field introduces the major character Francesca using a scene with zero dialogue.
