I hope everyone had a lovely Spring, and as Gemini season comes to a close I am happy to see what Summer holds in store for all of us! At the end of the month I am going to Astoria, Oregon to visit several filming locations that are near and dear to me (and lots of others, I know!)
I can't believe how quickly June is flying by, but I hope the summer finds everyone smiling and soaking up the sun (healthily, of course) as we get into the hottest parts of the year!
I've got a work-in-progress called A Possessive House, and since it takes place in Astoria, I will enjoy the sights as a trip while also using it to fuel my creative spark for that story by visiting the Flavel Houses (yes, both, and there are two) because they inspire my production of this tale.
2025 has brought me two relaunches now; with February's release of The Softer Side of Texas, and this month Simply Scarlet re-released as well - thrusting me forward into the Prism of Lies Series!
I threw myself into creation the last few weeks, and it's kept me super busy! I am happy to report I completed my AutoCrit Short Story Challenge piece, and while it wasn't selected as a Winner I chose to publish it on Vocal Media upon completion!

Sai Marie, I small business owner who provides author and writing services. I am a Bestselling author, screenwriter, poet, and content creator. I've worked so hard to establish myself while simultaneously writing my books and screenplays, and balancing being a single mother who is 90% deaf and has four children.
Two of whom are fully wheelchair-bound with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a terminal, debilitating disease. My eldest son can only move three fingers on each hand, and my secondborn, though fortunate to still have arm mobility, cannot walk or move his lower limbs at all.
These things have all propelled me forward, and despite countless setbacks, losses, and traumas, I can say I have finally accomplished this after 13 years of diligent hard work!

I certainly appreciate the offer. I don’t have any screenplays at present I need any coaching or assistance on though. At this point, my main full length feature film has been evaluated by Buffalo8 Studios, and the Blacklst twice with great marks after I worked with a producer as a coach that I met here on Stage32 about three years ago. I'll keep your offer in mind, of course. :D
I was told if I could get funding to come back to Buffalo8 at any time and have an open door opportunity for them to package the screenplay into something for studios to purchase. Unfortunately, despite being a hard working woman with clear talent and dedication, my problem is that I am low-income, disabled and have no assistance or partner support while having four children and two of whom are fully wheelchair bound with a terminal disease. That means, I definitely do not have the funding and I am on here not so much because I need more coaching or help toward creating the script I envisioned (or any others at this time) but because I am looking for Angel Investors who want to not only fund my movie being made, but see the viability of making someone like me’s dreams come true and investing into that human interests, heartwarming, and wholesome story of changing someone’s life who clearly has earned it, deserves it, and should be elevated because my goal is to be the next Dolly Parton. I am here to disrupt the system and find people who believe in the power of making a real impact and difference through storytelling. :)
