Hello everyone!

I’m Amanda, a screenwriter and storyteller from Brazil, passionate about creating bold, emotionally charged, and thought-provoking stories for the global market.

My current flagship project is a historical drama limited series titled “Rest in War” a visceral, emotionally intense story set during World War II, exploring how extreme circumstances push the human spirit to its absolute limits.

The series follows characters on opposite sides of history whose lives intertwine in the darkest possible circumstances. It’s a story about survival, identity, faith, shame, resilience, and the impossible moral dilemmas that arise when humanity is stripped to its rawest form.

Rest in War doesn’t just portray war as a backdrop, it focuses on the psychological and emotional wars that happen inside people. It’s about confronting who we really are when the world demands that we become something else to survive.

Beyond this series, I’m also developing a second limited series that follows equally complex characters trapped in impossible systems, always with a focus on deep, character-driven narratives, unique perspectives, and emotionally layered storytelling.

I’m currently seeking to connect with producers, collaborators, and representation (agents/managers) who are passionate about cinematic, emotionally resonant dramas that carry both strong character arcs and powerful thematic weight.

I’d love to connect with like-minded creatives and industry professionals who believe in the power of stories that challenge, move, and stay with the audience long after the screen fades to black.
