I've been working on a written pitch for Stage 32's Summer Horror Pitchfest. I'm structuring my pitch different than my usual pitch. It's a risk, but I think the pitch works better this way.

I need to watch it, specifically because I feel inspired from your own words. My latest bold risk was writing, co-producing, and directing my first short film, that I also financed the project myself.
Now, I am taking a new bold risk that I can’t share, but if I achieve my goal on filmmaking will be: Oh My God! hehehe and is linked with financing. And we need always to take risks if we want to evolve in this industry. Thanks for sharing Ash!

Love this, Ashley — and huge thanks to Grady for sharing his perspective. That mindset of “taking risks is the whole point” really resonates. So often we wait for the perfect moment, but in this industry, it’s the bold moves that create real momentum.
Personally, my next big risk is pushing my animated series Soturi further into the spotlight — developing a full proof-of-concept trailer, pitching to major studios, and scaling our AllBlackAnime brand into a full production house. Curious to hear from others — what’s your next leap?
