July Challenge: Drafting Visuals for my short film 'Blue Cat'
I had some succeed in pitching this idea to film groups. Before writing a script or seek for a collaborator, I want to finish a graphic story for it this month.
Hi, Lila Liang. Congratulations on having success pitching your idea! It sounds interesting from the title. I'm cheering you on to finish the story this month!
Absolutely loving your July Filmmakers Club approach with Blue Cat! Creating a visual story before diving into the script is such a strong move! It helps clarify tone, character, and world-building, and gives collaborators a real feel for what you’re aiming to create.
As you’re developing your story arc and key artwork, you might also consider checking out some of the great education available on Stage 32 about crafting pitch decks. Even early on, thinking about how to visually present your project to potential partners can be incredibly helpful. You’ll find valuable resources over on the Screenwriting Education page: https://www.stage32.com/education/collections/screenwriting
Looking forward to seeing your progress this month!
Hi Lila! This challenge looks amazing I'm just starting my acting journey but full of passion and energy I’d love to be involved in any way if you're looking for someone new and motivated. Good luck with 'Blue Cat it sounds beautiful!

Best of luck! That's a great goal and I often wish I had the skill to create a graphic novel or comic book.
