As a proud Stage 32 Ambassador for Germany and the Dominican Republic, I am excited to share my thoughts on a question that so many actors face: Is acting just a passion, or is it truly a profession? For many, the journey begins with love for the craft — the thrill of stepping into a character and telling stories that move people. But behind the passion lies the discipline, persistence, and professionalism required to build a sustainable career. Acting is more than dreams and talent; it is also about constant learning, networking, and embracing the business side of the industry. Makes total sense that as actors we need to harness all our abilities and assets in order to make life for us and make money. Unfortunately we can also have unhelpful beliefs e.g 'the struggling artist' that can affects us. Good luck with getting the pipe sorted!
