Introduce Yourself : Fresh on the market by Arvid Mahieu

Fresh on the market

Hello all! I have just graduated film school in Belgium and have earned myself a bachelor's degree in Film, TV & Video!

I was wondering whether anyone could guide me, now that I've graduated, into the world of film. I am located in Belgium, and am looking for either work around here, or remote work.

My area of interest is heavily in Writing and Direction, with a smaller interest in Production Assistance. It is my dream to one day start my own studio.

Right now, I'm preparing to inscribe as a freelancer.

If anyone could direct me to where one can find jobs besides facebook groups and Linkedin (because my, that's an endless fight), or if anyone is willing to take on someone new, I'm open for the suggestions!

I had posted a while back asking for advice in the field, today I ask anyone who made it, what is the way you got started? How is that going? What is the climate? I've got a million questions and hope someone here can open my eyes. I've done multiple interns now during my studies as PA and background assistant (I don't know the english term excuse me.) and now am hoping to dabble in something more in my goals.

Kind regards

Arvid
