Hi, Caron Ara. Great to meet you. Your idea sounds interesting. Are you planning on writing the script or hiring someone to?

Great, Caron Ara. Stage 32 has script feedback services if you're interested in getting feedback (www.stage32.com/scriptservices).
And you could post your script on your profile. Producers search profiles for projects. That and networking are how I sold four short scripts to a producer. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your script on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)

hi im not sure this will work im not well really stress i put my project up is there any worthwhile producers on here i have other scren writers requesting to connect with me need producer thanks your amazing can i put documentary up
find this site confusing
You're welcome, Caron Ara. Sorry to hear you're really stressed. I hope you feel better!
There are a lot of worthwhile producers on here.
It's great to network with other screenwriters. It could lead to opportunities for you, like getting feedback from them and meeting producers they know.
You can put your documentary on Stage 32. You can add it by moving your mouse over "Profile" on the bar near the top of Stage 32's home page and click "Video/Audio." You can also add your documentary by moving your mouse over "Browse" on the same bar and clicking "Video."
There's a description under the title in each Lounge that'll tell you what goes in that Lounge (www.stage32.com/lounge). And if you're still not sure or you ever have questions about Stage 32, let me or another Lounge Moderator know. We have badges on our pictures. Or you could email support@stage32.com.

You're welcome, Caron Ara. Yes, your alien film idea is up. Here's the link (www.stage32.com/profile/1036199/Screenplay/extraterestrial-encounter-the...). You can also get to it by scrolling down your profile until you see "Loglines."
I think your logline needs some work. Here’s a logline template that might help: After/when ______ (the inciting incident/event that sets the plot in motion), a _______ (the main flaw the protagonist has to overcome in the script or an adjective that describes the protagonist’s personality) _______ (the protagonist’s job/career/role) tries to/attempts to/fights to/struggles to/strives to/sets out to/fights/battles/engages in/competes/etc. _______ (goal of story and try to add the obstacles here) to/so/in order to ________ (stakes).
The inciting incident can also be at the end of the logline: A _______ (the main flaw the protagonist has to overcome in the script or an adjective that describes the protagonist’s personality) _______ (the protagonist’s job/career/role) tries to/attempts to/fights to/struggles to/strives to/sets out to/fights/battles/engages in/competes/etc. _______ (goal of story and try to add the obstacles here) to/so/in order to ________ (stakes) after/when ______ (the inciting incident/event that sets the plot in motion).
Loglines are one or two sentences. A one-sentence logline sounds better, and it takes less time for a producer, director, etc. to read it. Try to keep your logline to 35 words or less. Long loglines can make producers, directors, etc. pass on a project.
Avoid using “must” in loglines. “Must” usually means the protagonist is forced to do whatever they need to do in the story instead of doing it willingly. You might need to use “must” in a logline though, like when the protagonist is forced by another character to do something. Using “must” to choose between two options is fine.
Names in loglines are usually for biopics, well-known stories, and franchises (like Mission: Impossible).
Sometimes I put the location and date that the story takes place in instead of the inciting incident if it’s a Period Piece script.
All stories don’t follow this logline template. Biopics, documentaries, and Experimental scripts might not follow the template. The series logline for a TV show can follow this template, but the pilot logline and episode loglines for the show might not.

You're welcome, Caron Ara. My biggest tip is to network/build relationships on Stage 32. That's how I've had a lot of success on Stage 32, like connecting with producers, getting script requests, and getting jobs. It just takes one person to say "yes" to your documentary to get things rolling. I'm rooting for you to connect with producers on here!

It might take time for producers to contact you, Caron Ara. I haven't seen big star producers on Stage 32, but there are really successful producers on here.

I haven't been to the UK, but I'd love to go, Caron Ara.
I hope you keep trying and find success on here! A lot of people have (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/success-stories).
How have wannabes taken advantage of you on here?
ok had success ok you have to pay per pitch its moneyalways i mean are they taking advantage of wannabes mmmm not sure im lost here hope pray i can go forward the news wires dont have the reach they made out im thinking as its a little strange ? no enquiries understand my confusion ? just after money i guess wowhope your right glad you did well thanks keep warm caron
They're not taking advantage of wannabes, Caron Ara. The main purpose of the Pitch Sessions is to get feedback to improve your pitch, but sometimes the executives, managers, etc. will request scripts, sign writers, etc.
A lot of the resources on Stage 32 are free, like the Lounges, the Blogs, and the Job Board. I've used them to have success.
