Screenwriting : the Giant Killer Script Ch 5 Pg 4 review by Gregory Barone

(Please note that this is done as it would be a script for a comic, I have a background in comics, so I use comic terms for the script. I do hope to get this made as a movie or short TV show. I'm looking for feedback on the pages, if you can take the time to read and leave a review in the comments. replace panels with shot.)

Page 4 - Chapter 5

(Ch5 Pg4 Panel 1 - Full-Width Panel)

Garna stands tall and proud. In the foreground, Garna is holding a massive boulder with both hands, his muscles bulging as he lifts the rock effortlessly. The sheer scale of the rock makes it clear just how immense the giant is compared to Garerit. The scene is set in a wide-open field with sparse trees, emphasizing the isolation of their confrontation. Garna's intensity is palpable as he prepares to hurl the stone into the air. The background shows the earth cracking from his earlier displays of strength, underscoring his power.

SB (Garna - Speaking, Dialogue Bubble): "Prepare yourself, little man! This rock will be the first of many challenges you face!"

Garna hurls the boulder high into the air with immense strength. His arm is outstretched, and his body is positioned in a way that shows the sheer force of the throw. The rock is captured mid-air, spinning with velocity. The clouds in the sky are disturbed by the force of the throw, rippling in the wake of the boulder's flight. Garerit stands in the foreground, staring up at the massive rock, his expression unreadable, maintaining his calm despite the overwhelming show of power from the giant.

Close-up of Garerit's face reveals his calmness, almost like he is studying the trajectory of the rock as it soars into the sky. His eyes narrow slightly, and he appears deep in thought as the rock climbs higher and higher. His posture remains unaffected by Garna's display, showcasing the tailor's control of the situation. The contradiction between Garna's sheer strength and Garerit's calm, calculated demeanor is stark in this panel.

SB (Garerit - Thought Bubble): "A test of strength... but what is strength without control?"

The massive rock is in its descent from the sky, having traveled a great distance. The clouds part as the rock heads toward the ground with tremendous speed. Garerit's face still showing no fear, but his hands begin to move as he prepares to act. The entire landscape is dwarfed by the presence of the falling rock. The visual emphasis here is on the rock's sheer size and the momentum it carries.

SB (Garerit - Thought Bubble): "A giant's strength is in his size, but I'll turn his strength against him."
