Drew was an illustrator and artist who created your favorite movie posters for the better part of 40 years. He created the posters for (and this is a small sample size) Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back To The Future - anyone recognize these films? Amazing talent.
I somehow feel that movie poster artwork will go the way of album cover artwork. At least, from the artist POV. The idea that someone painted a poster/album cover by hand is remarkable.
His IMDb page credits him with creating 175 posters (at least).
Here's a documentary on Drew's work:

Maurice Vaughan That's difficult to answer. I think the most iconic and indelible images, for me, are the posters from the Star Wars trilogy (Episodes 4-6).

Those posters are fantastic, David Horton! My favorite is a tie between The Thing poster and the Back to the Future poster.

Both are great! I did some searching the the poster for Blade Runner is evocative. Drew's posters tell the story - in many ways better than the film. Eg: Masters of the Universe.

That's one of the things I think makes a poster stand out and get remembered, David Horton. It tells the story.
