I’m a visual artist turned filmmaker and the founder of OthBrok Production LLP.
My background is in fine arts, storytelling, and historical research which naturally led me to cinema.
I’m currently directing my debut feature film, inspired by the rise of स्वराज्य / Swarajya (Maratha Empire) and real events from the 16th–17th century. The project has taken me deep into archives, war records, architecture of forts, and forgotten historical letters and the journey itself has been life-changing.
I’m very passionate about:
• Historically accurate storytelling
• War, legacy, and political drama in cinema
• World-building through art, costumes, and research
• Connecting with filmmakers, writers, composers, and producers across the world
I’m grateful to be here to learn, share, and connect with like-minded creative professionals.
If you are passionate about culture, history, or storytelling-I’d love to talk.
Looking forward to meeting you all and discovering your journeys as well!
Warmly,
Mandarr Kaadam
