Screenwriting : How much work would you put in to get a movie made? by Andrew Flynn

How much work would you put in to get a movie made?

Recently, I hooked up with a local director here in Phoenix. He's written a few screenplays, as have I. He's also worked on about 10 feature-length productions of varying budgets. Now we're collaborating on a microbudgeted feature that we hope will gain eyeballs once it's finished. We figure the script will take four months, the shooting and post-production another few. No one is getting paid. What would you do for the love of a movie to get made?

John Ryan Kelmer

That is a tough question. There are so many different emotions you have to go through and being so hateful and precious about your work at the same time. I hope you guys do well... Thanks for 'liking' and excerpt of my script!

We writers are all about the emotions. And if not, then it's the wrong business to be in. Thanks for the well wishes, John!
