Introduce Yourself Weekend - About Me

I am here trying to sell a completed pilot concept for an animated sci-fi comedy half-hour TV series. My interests are science fiction, horror, and of course, animation. I've had a couple non-fiction books published, won some recognition at a couple festivals, but due to the fact that I have no representation, Stage32, Virtual Pitch Fest, are really the only ways I have to get in front of professionals who can help me get my concept off the ground. The info is in my profile (logline, reel, etc.). I have great art and look forward to showing it off. Thanks all for listening. Talk to you all soon I hope.

Neal Jamison Welcome to Stage 32. You're in the right place! Animation is hot right now, especially sci-fi comedy with a unique POV, so your timing is solid.

Here's what I'd recommend:

Since you're actively pitching and looking to get this concept in front of buyers, email success@stage32.com and let the team know what you're working on. They can help identify which executives are actively looking for animated sci-fi comedy right now and guide you toward the best pitch opportunities for your specific project.

Also, join November Write Club (free, all month). It's designed to help creatives stay accountable and push toward year-end goals. Could be helpful as you refine your pitch and keep momentum: https://www.stage32.com/blog/november-write-club-week-2-insights-from-th...

And if you want insight into how projects actually get made and packaged, check out this FREE webcast with Producer Ethan Erwin (Nov 19, 11am PT): https://www.stage32.com/education/products/from-script-to-screen-how-pro...

You're doing the right things: creating, building materials, and putting yourself in front of decision-makers. Keep pushing. Looking forward to seeing your concept break through!

Hey, Neal Jamison. Congratulations on having two books published and winning recognition at the festivals! Something I do to pitch my scripts is post pages in Stage 32's Your Stage Lounge, on Twitter/X, and on Instagram, like First Page Friday, Third Page Thursday, and Sneak Peek Sunday. I post loglines and script posters with the pages. And sometimes I post short pitches (like two-word pitches and three-word pitches) on social media.
