Hi everyone,
I'm Davy, a new member of the Stage 32 community and I'm happy to be here!
I'm a hobbyist screenwriter, security guard, recent college grad, and former mechanic's apprentice from Ontario, Canada looking to test his courage and skill. I recently completed writing a sports drama I spent six years trying to lock down. It was a tumultuous and immensely impactful journey I couldn't be more thankful for.
Now, I look forward to seeing what's next, exploring genres I'm interested in (i.e., westerns, action, prestige drama), forging meaningful industry connections, crossing paths with you all, and seeing what this community has to offer.
Kind regards,
Davy

Stage 32 has a lot of great resources for creatives, but the platform is massive so if you get the chance to watch the community open house, do yourself that favor. Ashley does a great job of showing folks around the site. It's really helpful.
Congratulations on finishing your sports drama script! Six years is truly a labor of love. You must feel accomplished.

Great to meet you, Davy Au. Welcome to the community. Congratulations on graduating and finishing your Sports Drama!
I suggest adding a detailed bio to your profile. It'll help you build relationships/network on here. You could add things to your bio like why you became a screenwriter, your accomplishments, your goals, and what movies and shows you like. You can edit your bio by clicking the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner of Stage 32, then selecting “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu, then clicking the red button underneath your location and choosing "Edit Profile."
