Really pleased to reintroduce myself to the community.
I’m a UK-based writer of horror fiction. My first novel, ‘The Harvest’, was published this time last year, leading Ginger Nuts of Horror to call me a “compelling new voice” in the genre.
My second novel, found-footage meta-fiction ‘The House That Screamed’, is due out June 2026, with a third being published in 2027!
Despite writing dark fiction, I’m an affable soul, and look forward to building my network with more fantastic, creative members of this community.
Let’s make 2026 a year of amazing success!

It's great to see you at Introduce Yourself Weekend, Alex Hunter. A found-footage meta-fiction sounds interesting! I've never read one.

Libby Wright I'm trying. Still waiting for the elusive streaming deal!
I'm rooting for you to, Alex Hunter! One of my goals this year is read more books. It was a goal I didn't get to last year. The Harvest is the first book on my read list this year.

Welcome back Alex Hunter! It’s great to see another horror voice joining the fold, and congratulations on your publishing success, that’s an impressive and exciting slate. Having that novel-writing discipline is a huge asset for screen structure and pacing. Are you looking to adapt your own work!

Sam Rivera thanks Sam. I'm not altogether keen on the idea of adapting my own stuff - I'm very relaxed about someone else having a go at it!
