Introduce Yourself : Hello from Oz by Steve Harrison

Steve Harrison

Hello from Oz

Hi everyone. I'm a writer from Sydney, Australia, and after a break from screenwriting to write novels during the last few years, I'm back into scripts and will be querying over the next few months.

My last foray into screenwriting led to some oh-so-close almost-sales (but no cigar), so I'm hoping to go one further this time. I did manage to sell two novels adapted from scripts, though, so I am into recycling...

Looking forward to mingling with you all.

Hi Steve Harrison - it's an honor to meet you. Congrats on selling your novels - that's great! Be sure to head over to the screenwriting lounge (as Maurice suggested) and get to know some of your fellow scribes. There are some good people here.

Hi Steve, welcome back to scripts and to Stage 32.

Congrats on the novels, that is a great way to keep stories alive and moving forward. Those almost-sales can be frustrating, but they also mean you were very close, which definitely counts for something.

Wishing you the best with the queries ahead, and looking forward to connecting and mingling here as well.

Steve Harrison

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. Looking forward to being part of this community.
