Hi everyone, I've been in the film industry for about 30 years, primarily in visual effects. I was working as a visual effects supervisor when the strikes and the end of peak TV put a damper on the industry. In the lull I've turned back to screenwriting which I've treated as a secondary concern for years. I wrote two scripts last year, am percolating on a new one now and spending some time adapting one of my stronger scripts into a novel. Hoping to put more real energy into writing and hoping that Stage 32 is a good force multiplier to that effort.

One is a vampire noir action thriller about an old vampire and a cop chasing a guy who stole vampire blood to become immortal (it goes badly). That's the one that I'm adapting to a novel. The other is a period drama about a widowed old woman int he 1950s who buys a radio station and accidentally invents talk radio (fictional). Both very different from each other. They're not my first scripts, just my most recent.

That and networking are how I sold four short scripts to a producer. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post your scripts on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)
