I am struggling with my pitch so much. I am struggling to get it all within 2 pages (I am dyslexic and have autism) does anyone have any ideas what is the most important for two pages? Thanks.
A great hook is really important, Shayla Anne. I like to start a written pitch with a question that'll hook the person. A logline and summary (written like you're pitching the story) are really important too.
Stage 32 has two written pitch examples (one for a show and the other for a movie). You can get them by emailing success@stage32.com.
The advice I found useful recently was to tell the story, not tell everything that happens in every scene. That might mean leaving out subplots or arcs for minor characters, even leaving out the names of minor characters or descriptions of action set pieces.
I was trying to tell my story in less than a page, so it was a challenge!

And Stage 32 published a blog the other day called "The Art of the Pitch: 35 Screenwriters Share What Actually Works" (www.stage32.com/blog/the-art-of-the-pitch-35-screenwriters-share-what-ac...).
