Hi Again. I've been stalking talented people here for a few years now. I write happy apocalypses and am the proud author of my publisher's favorite eight-book trilogy. Six are out, and the other two are on my hard drive, begging to be spanked.
Sorry, written. They're begging to be written.

Hi, Bill McCormick. Hope you're having a great month! Congratulations on the success in 2025 and all your success! Happy Apocalypse could be a sub-genre.

Huge congratulations on that incredible awards haul—"happy apocalypses" is such a memorable and intriguing genre twist. With an eight-book trilogy already earning that kind of recognition, you're sitting on prime IP for adaptation. I'd suggest looking into Stage 32's adaptation-focused webinars and pitch sessions, where producers actively seek established worlds like yours. Do you have a clear vision for translating that dark satire visually, and are you hoping to adapt it yourself or find a screenwriting partner?

Sam Rivera We optioned the story last year, but the company couldn't come up with the financing. No bad people, it just didn't work. I'm working with an agent whom I've known for a few decades. Our biggest problem was explaining to people how expansive this monster is. So, using custom AI, we created short, mildly NSFW promo videos (link below) and now people answer their phones.
Yes, I have a vision and, no, I don't want to write it.
