As a creator I find it often difficult to separate oneself from my work as I see screenwriting as an art. This has been something I’ve come to he realization on while putting together deliverables for my script and often run into revisions where cutting and/or editing materials out strengthens the construct of the script regardless of how emotionally attached I become to my works.
From a creator and writer’s perspective, what’s a scene you recently cut that made the script stronger - even though it hurt, and how did it strengthen the delivery?
