What’s up everyone — my name is James Richardson. I’m currently developing a TV drama called “Fake It Until You Make It.”
It’s a character-driven story about identity, respect, and belonging following a young Army soldier who gets pulled into a new world through street basketball and nightlife.
Right now I’m finishing the pilot and building out the series bible and pitch deck. Excited to connect with other creatives here and learn from the community.

Hi James Richardson, welcome! I’m Ashley, Head of Community here at Stage 32.
Since you’re looking to connect with filmmakers at all stages and keep things moving forward, I’d encourage you to stay active in the Filmmaking Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing), the Producing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing), and the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting). Those are great spaces to meet collaborators, share progress, and stay engaged in conversations about getting projects made.
I’m also hosting a free webcast event in a couple of weeks called the Community Open House. It’s a monthly event where I walk through how to navigate Stage 32 strategically, build meaningful industry relationships, and position your projects for real traction:

Looking forward to seeing what you create and who you connect with here.
