Screenwriter & Visual Artist — Psychological Thrillers & Dark Dramas

Hi everyone, I’m Hakeem, a screenwriter and visual artist based in Pishin, Balochistan. I'm thrilled to join this community. Living in a remote part of Pakistan, I lack the chance for casual studio networking. My challenge is geographical, but I answer with an unwavering passion for my craft.

While I have written in various genres—from romantic comedies to slice-of-life—my main expertise and strongest work are in psychological thrillers. I emphasize shot-ready action lines, impactful dialogue, and dark, inevitable endings. I craft scripts that are designed to be shot efficiently and performed passionately.

My strength lies in visual storytelling. Besides screenwriting, I professionally provide services as a custom image manipulator. When pitching a script, I create detailed cinematic lookbooks and photo boards to give directors a clear visual guide for lighting and tone before any concept art is produced.

I aim to network sideways, seeking connections with independent directors, producers, and dedicated writers in the dark drama genre.

Let's connect.

Hi Hakeem Pashini, welcome to Stage 32! I’m Ashley, Head of Community here on the platform. It’s great to meet you, and I really respect the way you’re approaching your work. Even without local access to industry hubs, you can build meaningful connections here, and it sounds like you’re already thinking about that in a smart way.

I’d encourage you to spend time participating in the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting) and the Producing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing). Those are great spaces to connect with writers and producers who are actively developing projects and looking for collaborators, especially in the genre space you’re working in.

You may also want to reach out to our Success Team at Success@Stage32.com. If you share your projects and your goals, they can help point you toward curated resources, opportunities, and introductions that align with where you want to go.

And since you’re serious about building connections and getting your work in front of the right people, I’d definitely recommend exploring the Writer’s Room as well. It offers access to industry professionals, exclusive discussions, and Open Writing Assignments where producers and executives are actively seeking material. You can check out a free month here:
