I follow two main themes. Firstly, the imagined diaries of a Roman soldier (there are no Roman soldier's diaries, just the elite blowing their own trumpet) and secondly, the gritty real world meets almost believable science fiction. Occasionally I throw in a completely different genre on a kind of can I do that basis - some stuff never leaves the drawing board - if it looks bad throw it away, but I did OK with a stab at the horror genre. I write for my own enjoyment, but can I write something worth reading. I seem to have done OK so far. My film scripts have won 12 awards, as well as reached 3 finals, 6 semi-finals, 3 quarter finals and 2 honourable mentions. I like to feel that none have yet been picked up because I am too idle to spend any effort pitching them to the industry. I probably need help to get over the final hurdle, maybe someone hungry enough to get there is needed. Any offers?
With a last name like Fear, feels like you should lean into the horror genre more!
