All this stuff about virility , podcasts, YouTube, Instagram, FB, Booktok, Tic Toc, is about as effective as eenie, meanie, miny, mo to me. It is high tech tick talk. A sign of the times. Along with the language i.e. reaching out, engage, influencer, going forward, thank for that, etc. There is/are generations floating out into space controlled by their keyboard and cell phone.
Writers are dreamers and I am right there at the head of the class. It is wonderful and dreams do come true, sometimes, if you never give up on yourself.
Briefly, I have written eight full length screenplays, six shorts that have reached finalist status from Massachusetts to Tokyo. Is that success?
The goal is to have at least one of my screenplays optioned/produced. If it is meant to be it will happen.
Writers need to be members of a platform Stage 32 that educate and encourage its' members and who knows we just might connect with a producer that is searching for the screenplay(s) of her/his dream.
Success is when you do what makes you happy and glad to be alive!
