I recently went to the theatre to see You, Me & Tuscany and found myself full of glee and nostalgia for all the iconic rom-coms I grew up watching in theatres. The way the audience HOWLED while I sat front row with my mom at My Big Fat Greek Wedding to going with a group of friends to see Trainwreck when I was 25. The rom-com theatre experience is meaningful to me, especially since I have make a living writing them. But do we think rom-coms in theatres will make a comeback? Or do you prefer to watch a rom-com in the coziness of your bed on a streamer? Let me know your thoughts!
Rom-Coms has always had a special audience and kept a special place in there hearts. I know it does for me. Going to the theaters creates a magical nostalgia feeling that you just cant get at home... having said that, I would also love a comfy at home Rom-Com also. By the way... My favorite Rom-Com of all time is French Kiss. What's yours?
