This is probably a noob question to end all noob questions... but I've been told to think about trailer moments in my screenplays and I'm a wee bit stuck. Are these the most significant story moments that are particularly visual and verbally impactful?

Not really, in fact I'd say the opposite. I've seen so many trailers recently give away so much that I feel like I watched the whole movie.
That's true eh Russell Hoffman, I received at least one note calling Lunar Window's climax a trailer moment/selling point and indeed at the time it was the most striking part of the whole story (everything else was rather mundane). I definitely would prefer it not be the only thing to make it into the trailer/promotional images lol
Same Evan Phoenix, I still miss the old school trailers with voice-overs and I hope Lunar Window will get a good trailer. Just have to figure out how I can ensure that...

Trailer moments are the big visual and emotional beats. The hook, the twist, the line of dialogue that sums up the whole movie!
Thank you, Sam Rivera, then I'll do my best to give the latest draft some good ones :)
