Hey guys, I'm Chava Méndez a filmmaker based in México. I'm brand new into Stage32.
After 15 years -and counting- in the advertising world, last year I finally made my first work of fiction: my short film WHAT'S KEPT INSIDE (Lo Que Se Guarda), a drama/horror about a day in the life of two pre-teen brothers trying to keep their dad -who's locked in his room, turning into something wild and violent- alive.
What's Kept inside has been on the festival circuit and won awards both nationally and internationally. I'm currently co-writing a feature drama/horror with a friend in Vancouver and the idea is to start leaning more and more into fiction.
