Some days I sit down to write and everything is quiet.
Not the bad quiet. Not the blank page panic.
The other quiet.
The one that happens right before the story opens up and lets you in.
That feeling — that specific feeling — is why I do this.
I’ve tried to explain it to people who don’t write and I never quite get there. It’s not just creativity or imagination or craft.
It’s something more like being trusted by the story. Like it chose you to tell it and for a moment everything else falls away and it’s just you and the world you’re building and nothing outside that matters.
I live for that feeling.
I’m building scripts around characters who are dark and complicated and so deeply human it’s uncomfortable sometimes.
I’m developing stories I believe in completely. I’m learning a new format and humbling myself in the process and loving every difficult minute of it.
This is not a hobby for me. This is not a side project.
This is the dream. And I’m in it.
Directors. Producers. Writers. If you’re building something real — I want to be in that conversation.
