Introduce Yourself : Hi everyone by Prince Kouadio

Prince Kouadio

Hi everyone

, I’m Prince . I’m a self‑taught composer and multi‑instrumentalist who discovered film music in 2024, and it instantly became a transformative experience for me. Since then, I’ve been working with passion to improve my craft and understand how music can shape a story.

What fascinates me the most is the power music has : it reaches the soul without asking permission. It can shift emotions, influence behavior, and completely change the way we experience a scene. Recently, I started practicing music for picture by scoring silent or music‑free versions of animations, and each project teaches me something new.

I’m here to grow, connect with other creatives, and keep exploring how sound can bring visual stories to life.

Hello, Prince Kouadio!

Welcome to Stage 32! Your perspective on music is really inspiring, especially your observation that music can "reach the soul without asking permission." That's such a powerful way to describe what makes film scoring unique.

Hi Snehil! Nice to meet you too!

Prince Kouadio

Hello James , Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

Elle Bolan

Hello Prince! Glad to have you here. What's something you've learned on your composing journey so far that surprised you?

Samantha Rivera

Welcome, and discovering film music as a transformative experience in 2024 means you're coming to it with fresh ears and a genuine passion that hasn't been worn down yet. Scoring silent animations is a smart way to practice because it forces you to serve the picture rather than just show off your skills. What's the most surprising thing you've discovered about your own musical voice through that practice?

Prince Kouadio

Hello Elle! I was surprised by the fact that music is really powerful. But there is something deep about that . I understood that it can really affect how people behave and also feel. So for me, i took it like a big responsibility. making music for a film requires that you really feel the scenes. Not just watching and put some random stuff on it and this really fascinated me .

Prince Kouadio

Thank you Samantha. What surprised me the most is that my musical voice reveals itself when I stop trying to control it. When I let go of expectations and just follow the emotion, my ideas become more honest and natural. That’s when my real sound starts to appear. I really love Orchestral music, so it became a part of this musical voice .
