Our vision is a single place where every party in a film deal can find and verify each other directly. Writers upload their actual work — scripts, screenplays, manuscripts, video trailers — instead of just claiming credits. Producers and directors can see that a writer and their material have cleared real verification stages before reaching out. Financiers can see that a project has already met every requirement — rights, identity, funding readiness — and simply choose what to finance, instead of re-running diligence from scratch on every deal. Agents and managers can discover unsigned writers and material directly, and move toward option agreements without depending on who happens to already know whom. Getting a project made has always meant the same slow grind: finding people, proving yourself, and waiting — days, weeks, months, sometimes years — for relationships and reputation to grow and trust each other enough to construct and complete a project. BuildAFilm was built to close that gap.

Hmmmm. My take? Established producers and financiers get deal flow through existing relationships, assistants who screen for them, and reputations that generate inbound interest. They have very little structural reason to join a general-purpose networking platform and scroll through unknown writers' profiles. I think it will attract a few hopeful actors or writers but that's about it. Sorry if I'm stepping on someone's toes.
Right. This is what Stage 32 is. A platform for building relationships. Most people prefer to work with people they know. I don't see the value in that platform.
