I’m Richard, and I studied film, television, and radio production over two decades ago. Finally, I decided to put pen to paper and write an idea that had been in my mind for a long time.
I wrote my first screenplay about a private investigator in New Orleans who is contacted by the spirit of a former jazz club owner. The spirit is trying to retrieve his belongings from the club he once owned.
I also have a few other ideas and concepts that I’m working on, but that’s all for now.

Congrats on finishing your first script, Richard; that's no small thing after carrying an idea around for years. A PI being pulled into a supernatural case by a jazz club owner's ghost is such a strong hook. New Orleans practically writes half the atmosphere for you.
I'm curious how you're playing the tone, leaning into noir-serious with the supernatural elements played straight, or is there room for some dark humor in there too?
