I’d look beyond the university itself and pay close attention to the local film industry, co-production opportunities, funding system and especially the network you can build while studying. For producing, those relationships can be just as valuable as the education itself. Germany, France and the UK would all be worth exploring, depending on where you ultimately want to build your career.

Great question, Mane! I’d also look at which programs give you real access to the industry while you’re studying - internships, markets, festivals, co-productions and working producers as instructors. For a producer, the relationships you leave school with can be every bit as important as the degree. France, Italy, Spain, Canary Islands, Greece, Ireland and Germany are great co-pro places. Would love to hear what countries you’re currently considering!
Amanda Toney Zoltan Zoltan Thank you, very much for the advice. I am looking in every European country's every prestige university. I have been advised to look into the following univerisites
Kino Eyes
Doc Nomads
Famu
La Femis
Met film school.
Now I want to know from the inside which ones are worth studying for international students especially.
I did not go to filmschool. Still. For instance, the Nederlandse Filmacademie seems to be good, but there is no future in the Netherlands. Study in country where there is future for filmmaking. If I were you, I would choose Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin. Not sure if they teach in English.
