Hey Stage 32 community,
Quick update on WE DICE LIVING.
Over the last few weeks I’ve been putting more focus into the business side of the project — reaching out to literary managers, agents, producers, production/development companies, and other potential industry bridges while continuing to build relationships here on Stage 32.
I’ve now published WE DICE LIVING on Script Revolution, where the completed pilot “THE HAND YOU DEALT” is available through the read-request system, along with the project’s executive pitch package.
WE DICE LIVING is a one-hour serialized Southern crime drama about two teenage best friends who enter the drug trade believing money will finally give them choices. Years later, the empire they built threatens their families, loyalty, friendship, and freedom while rivals and a Major Crimes investigation close in.
The project currently has:
* A completed 73-page pilot
* A complete 10-episode Season One
* A mapped multi-season story through its ending
* An executive pitch package and deeper series-development materials
* WGA registration and a pending U.S. Copyright Office application
One of the things I care most about with WDL is rewatch value — letting the first watch work emotionally on its own while small character choices, dialogue, background details, and relationships reveal completely different meanings once you know where the story eventually goes.
If anybody here enjoys character-driven crime drama, ensemble storytelling, coming-of-age stories, street and police perspectives living inside the same world, or long-range cause-and-effect storytelling, I’d genuinely love for you to check it out.
And if you read it, tell me what stayed with you. Not just what you liked — what character, scene, relationship, question, or moment was still in your head afterward.
