I submitted my animated short film script to the Austin Film Festival and was placed as a second rounder in the top 25%!
This may not mean much to others, but with this being my first ever written script, I'm so happy my son's story stuck with someone enough to advance to another read!

Delenn Kerkhof Thank you!! I would have to say my goal is to create stories that make a difference, create an impact, and to make people feel something, not just something they read/watch and don't think about afterwards. With this story in particular, The Humming Boy, I wanted to show in my writing that someone having a voice doesn't necessarily mean they can speak the same words we do. It's about acceptance - something we can all relate to one way or another. More to come on this - I am wrapping up a feature film script for this. Thanks again!
