Why is it that industry people do not believe kids should be empowered through cartoon animation themes. E.g. social issues, anti-bullying, anti-drugs, and anti-violence?
Perhaps because it's hard to do a "message" cartoon without getting too preachy and heavy-handed. To me the best "E/I cartoons were "Fat Albert" and "Captain Planet". They were fun and learnable.
