The Top 10 Reasons I love Writing/Producing/Editing/Directing and sometimes acting in Radio Drama/Comedy...

The focus is on the words and plot! 9. Sooo glad I don't have to do a scenic design (wasn't my strong suit in college...although I could save myself)! 8. I give exercise to a listener's imagination. 7. Have the opportunity to take the listener anywhere just so long as I have a good sound and music plot to go with the words. 6. Shorter rehearsal schedule. 5. It's something that not very many people do today! Talk about a conversation starter at parties! 4. I get to prove that radio isn't dead but just forced into an induced coma by corporate conglomerates! 3. Revive methods that STILL WORK!!!!! 2. I get to work with people that I think the world of. 1. No head shots required and we can record in our Jim Jams if we wish!
