What's your timeline? I've sketched out a rom-com short, but haven't gotten around to actually writing it yet...

Hey Bob... the time line is to find something as a summer (that's Australia summer Jan - Feb) project. If you are willing to share what you are thinking of as just a chat... that is ok with me... the thing about short films for me is that most I find are just an idea that gets spun out for X minutes... what I'm looking for is something with characters and a full story arc. thanks for your reply... cheers jp

It also depends on the length. My idea is this. A single guy sees an attractive woman. He fantasizes about introducing himself, which leads to romance, then marriage, then kids, then being an old married fart. He snaps out of the fantasy, and when the woman REALLY approaches him, he ducks and runs away. I won't get into all the fantasy details, but they're based on real life (think When Harry Met Sally). Does that sound interesting?

I have a 7 pg comedy, but the lead has to be a celebrity doppleganger.

Yeah I have one written. It was originally a 30 minute pilot but i condensed it down into 7 minutes and its a rom com
