Introduce Yourself : Sara McDermott Jain - writer and filmmaker by Sara McDermott Jain

Hi all! I am a first-time filmmaker whose short film Chance is currently showing in the Williamsburg International Film Festival this weekend! It's been an amazing couple of days, and if you're near Brooklyn, I hope you'll come out to catch some of the films today and tomorrow. First and foremost, though, I consider myself a writer. I worked as a freelance script writer for 2 years, writing webisodes for Fountainhead Studios and also collaborating on a feature-length script for Lincoln Green, a small production company in New Mexico. I'm currently perfecting a script I wrote last spring and starting a new screenplay for an action/thriller, which is a departure for me... I typically write drama and horror.
